Application Note
Biomarkers offer insights into cellular processes, disease mechanisms, and environmental responses. Scientists use RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) to analyze the transcriptome for novel transcripts, isoforms, alternative splicing events, and subtle expression changes that may serve as or lead to novel biomarkers. However, differences in sample quality and processing, leading to RNA integrity variation, can compromise data reliability.
