AstraZeneca is getting rights to a Sino Biopharmaceutical drug that offers a dual mechanism to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD. It’s the same approach as an FDA-approved drug that Merck acquired last year in a multi-billion dollar deal.
