Human Cell-Based New-Approach Methodologies in Cancer Research

Thanks to emerging technologies, researchers are shifting away from animal studies when modeling disease. Compared to animal models, human-based new-approach methodologies (NAMs), such as spheroids, organoids, tissue chips, and other sophisticated cell culture models, can often better recapitulate disease with greater complexities and higher throughputs. Additionally, scientists can develop NAMs from patient samples, which facilitates the understanding of human variability and supports personalized medicine.

In this webinar, scientists will discuss various human cell-based NAMs for endometrial cancer, glioblastoma, and more, focusing on their ability to accurately model disease in a high-throughput manner.
