Los Angeles-based USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center has opened a new radiation therapy and imaging center in Newport Beach, Calif.
The Keck Medicine of USC-Newport Beach Radiation Oncology and Imaging center is equipped with CT scanners, positron emission tomography CT imaging and two linear accelerators, according to an April 3 news release from the health system.
The center is also home to the RefleXion X1 system, making it the first clinical site in Orange County, Calif., to offer biology-guided radiation therapy, the release said.
