Quebec Court Lets Lawsuit Proceed After Starbucks Admits $0.12 Cost Behind $0.80 Plant-Based Milk Fee – vegconomist

Update (June 19, 2026): Starbucks has disputed the characterization of its cost disclosures in this case. The company told vegconomist it made no admission regarding the cost of dairy milk or plant-based alternatives, and that no evidence establishing cost was presented to the court. Starbucks said it will seek a correction of the judgment on this point.
