Application Note
Cells can communicate with each other using extracellular vesicles (EVs), and EV release and abundance patterns serve as markers for physiological and pathological mechanisms. However, EV research is difficult owing to low yields and the lack of an established biomanufacturing platform to efficiently produce exosomes from cells. Further, EV samples risk contamination from surrounding proteins, lipoproteins, and nucleic acids.
Download this application note to explore a reproducible method for purifying EVs using a combination of high-speed and ultracentrifugation.
