Resistance to change still greatest barrier to AI drug discovery

Resistance to change has emerged as the biggest barrier (51%) to data innovation in the pharmaceutical industry, while lack of skills is the second most cited barrier (17%). 

The new findings on data-driven innovation and AI in life sciences were released by the Pistoia Alliance in conjunction with CCC (Copyright Clearance Center).  

The research was conducted at the Pistoia Alliance’s annual European conference, held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London.
